Arjuna’s Dejection:
Who are we too judge who is better tan the rest? To use others for our benefit and lead them to an unimaginable disgrace. We are nobody to judge others to make us feel superior. This teaching portrays how the fight for supremacy and superiority makes others doubt about sacrificing other’s well being for their own benefit. The power voice stops Krishnaand his forces from killing Duryodhana’s sons and bringing disgrace upon the family.
“We sought kingship, delights, and pleasures for the sake of those assembled to abandon their lives and fortunes in battle”. Segment 33. Teaching 1.
Look at the previous reference for a clearer idea of what the text is referring to. As you can see the segment portrays the ideal of stepping over someone to get what you want. In today’s morals it is completely wrong and “undignified” to do such action. Nevertheless, modern society is survival of the fittest for as long as I can remember and this ideology involves stepping over smaller “creatures” to reach the final goal. This “sin” is something that average people do daily and find it as part of their daily life.
“I know the world is cold and deceiving, but ima keep my head up like my nose is bleeding.”
Lil Wayne (modern rapper).
